The Police Sub-Inspector of PuttenahalliPolice Station has
filed charge sheet against accused for the offences punishable
U/sec., 353, 427 of IPC.

02. The brief facts of the prosecution case is as
follows:-
It is alleged that, Cw-1 Ramesh is an Assistant
Commissioner in the BESCOM S-6 Sub-Division and was
posted on 09-03-2015 at J.P. Nagar 6th Phase, Jaraganahalli,
Rajiv Gandhi Road, G.T.M., which is under the jurisdiction of
Puttenahalli Police Station. On the complaint that an electric
pole had broken on the road in front of the college and the
wires were bent to the ground, Cw-1 along with his unit’s
persons Cw-2 and Cw-3 went in his unit’s Maruti Owny Car
No. KA-05-AB-718 at around 07:30 pm to repair the electric
pole and line. On the same day, between 08:30 and 08:45 pm,
when the accused tried to move forward through the place
where Cw-1 was repairing the electric line with the intention of
committing a crime, Cw-2 told the accused to stand aside for
the safety of the accused and not go forward, or if necessary,

go from the other side road, but the accused did not listen to
Cw1’s team member and obstructed the duty of the Cw.1
team. Later, when Cw-1 tried to continue on the same road,
the accused, who did not warn him again, suddenly got angry
and picked up a stone that was lying there and smashed the
front window of the car bearing Reg.No. KA-05-AB-718
belonging to Cw1’s office and caused damage and loss of Rs.
