About the Opportunity:
Deloitte’s Cyber Risk Services team is expanding and seeking professionals for the role of ServiceNow SAM – Consultant (Solution Advisor). The Cyber Risk practice helps organizations stay secure, vigilant, and resilient against evolving cyber threats through end-to-end risk management and technology solutions. Eligibility:
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, servers, hardware environment, and software licensing
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-SAM Specialist) preferred
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM, CMDB, Discovery integrations, inventory management, and Flow Designer
- Familiarity with Visio for workflow creation
- Knowledge of vendor licensing (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe)
- Experience with SAM tools such as SCCM, Flexera, and ServiceNow recommended
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, work independently, and thrive in team settings
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Configure, develop, and optimize ServiceNow SAM Pro for software asset and license management
- Design SAM workflows, including using Flow Designer and Visio for requirement gathering
- Normalize discovered software using Content Library and publisher packs
- Integrate SAM with discovery tools (e.g., SCCM) to collect installation and usage data
- Manage software models, entitlements, contracts, and license metrics for major vendors
- Track software consumption, compliance, reclamation, and manage vendor audits/true-ups with Procurement and Legal
- Develop compliance and audit-ready reports
- Ensure data integrity across SAM modules, CMDB, and entitlements
- Create workflows for software requests, approvals, provisioning, and de-provisioning
- Recommend optimization opportunities based on usage analysis
- Provide training and guidance on ServiceNow configurations
- Support sales activities within the SAM domain
