The Bengaluru Contonment Railway Police have filed
this charge sheet against the accused for the offences
punishable U/s.20(b), 22 of NDPS Act, 1985.
2. It is the case of prosecution that on 28.12.2020 at 11.30
a.m, when CW-1 to 4 were on patrol duty at Contonment
Railway Station, Prashanthi Express came to Plot-form No.1
of the said railway station and after some time it departed

from the railway station. At that time, the accused No.2 and 3
were behaving suspiciously and on enquiry it was found that
they were carrying 5 bundles of ganja weighing 12 kg 530
gms. On further enquiry, it was found that the accused No.1
by name Shaik Tajuddin has purchased the said ganja and
sent the same through accused No.2 and 3. CW-8 came to
the spot and interrogated the accused No.2 and 3 and it was
found that the said accused were carrying the ganja without
possessing a valid license. On the above said fact, as per
report submitted by the first informant this case has been
registered against the accused No.1 to 3 for the commission
of offence referred above.
