The PSI of Basaveshwara Nagar Police Station has laid
charge sheet against accused for the offences punishable
U/s.380 of IPC.
2. THE PROSECUTION’S CASE IN NUTSHELL IS
AS UNDER:
That, the Cell Phones 5 to 8 in numbers worth of about
Rs.40,000/- belonging to the inmates of Sri Kambi
Siddaramanna Hostel, 1st Cross, 3rd Stage, 4th Block,
Basaveshwara Nagar, was being stolen from one month prior to
28.12.2016. The accused was found to have stolen the said Cell
Phones of the inmates and was caught hold on 28.12.2016,
thereby he has committed offence punishable U/s.380 of IPC.
3. On receipt of First Information Statement by the
complainant/CW-1, Basaveshwara Nagara Police have
registered the case in Cr. No.430/2016 for the offence
punishable U/s.380 of IPC and transmitted the FIR to the
jurisdictional Magistrate. After completion of investigation, the
IO has filed the final report against the accused for having
committed the offence punishable U/s.380 of IPC.
