About the Opportunity
Rashtriya Raksha University (An Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India) invites applications for contractual positions of an Assistant Professor (Law) at its Puducherry Campus.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work in relevant Teaching, Research and consultancy projects
- To come up with innovative outreach projects
- Planning and Organisation of Certificate Course, Diploma courses, Short courses customised to research work
- Training Programs, Conferences, Workshops and Research work in collaboration with a research organisation
- To perform any other responsibility assigned by the University/Section within India and Outside India pertaining to research and ancillary to it
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s degree in Law with minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grade system is followed), from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
- Candidate must have qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in Law or Ph.D. in Law or both in accordance with UGC Regulations
- Papers presented/published at Conferences and/or in reference journals
- Ability to meet the timelines, prepare reports, and papers on various assignments
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to prepare reports/papers on various assignments
- Two years’ experience in teaching and/or research in the relevant field in a reputed organisation
- Ph.D. in Law
- Good level of autonomy/independence in managing work
