Details about the Opportunity
In its inaugural edition, the Guru Legal National Moot Court Competition 2025 invites law students across India to engage in high-level legal advocacy. The competition is set in the futuristic nation of Lexlandia, tackling cutting-edge issues involving neurotechnology, data privacy, PMS as a criminal defense, and fair trial rights. Participants will argue the case of Aarohi Mehra v. State of Lexlandia, where a woman accused of culpable homicide challenges the constitutionality of neuro-data extraction and raises PMS-induced emotional distress as a legal defense. The competition will be held virtually and consist of memorial selection, followed by oral rounds including prelims, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals.
