Learned counsel for the petitioner in CRP (C.R.P. Art. 227)
No. 14 of 2020, Mr. Juno Rahman is present before the Court physically
and submits that this matter may be referred to the mediation center at
High Court of Manipur to explore the possibility of amicable settlement.
Learned counsel for respondent Nos. 1, 3 & 4, SM Fariz,
submits that he has no objection to aforesaid submission which is made
by the learned counsel for the petitioner for referring the matter to the
mediation center to explore the possibility of amicable settlement,
however, the aforesaid learned counsel further submitted that respondent
No. 1 has died on 20.03.2025 and informs this Court of the expiry of
respondent No. 1 on 27.03.2025.
Therefore, learned counsel for the concerned respondent be
directed to furnish the particulars of LRs of the deceased respondent No.
1, Md. Abdul Hakim, to the learned counsel for the petitioner to persuade
the matter in accordance with law.

The connected proceeding in MC [CRP (C.R.P. Art. 227)] No.
51 of 2022 has been filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963
seeking to condone the delay of 76 days in filing the application for setting
aside the abatement in CRP (C.R.P. Art. 227) No. 14 of 2020.
The reasons stated in the application are found to be
justifiable and acceptable.
Consequently, the proceeding in MC [CRP (C.R.P. Art. 227)]
No. 51 of 2022 is hereby allowed and disposed of in the interest of justice.
Whereas keeping in view the submission which is made by
learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and so also learned counsel
for respondent Nos. 1, 3 & 4 are concerned, CRP (C.R.P. Art. 227) No. 14
of 2020 is referred to Mediation Centre at High Court of Manipur to explore
the possibility of amicable settlement in between the parties and be
scheduled on 08.09.2025.
Both the parties are directed to be present physically before
the Mediator on 08.09.2025 at 01:30 pm.
Registry is directed to furnish relevant material for the
purpose of reference.
A copy of this order be furnished to all the learned counsel
for the parties through their WhatsApp/e-mail for doing the needful.
