The Karnataka High Court has granted an extension of six weeks for Ola Electric to submit the response in respect of seeking additional documents and information from the CCPA.
Ola Electric received communication from the CCPA on December 04, 2024, seeking additional documents and information in relation to the previous response submitted by the Company.
On October 7, Ola Electric received a Show Cause Notice from the Central Consumer Protection Authority. The Central Consumer Protection Authority provided a timeline of 15 days for the Company to respond to the show cause notice.
“We wish to reiterate that Ola Electric has a robust mechanism to address complaints raised with respect to our vehicles,” Ola Electric in a reply on October 21.
“We wish to emphasize that out of 10,644 complaints that we received from the CCPA, 99.1% of the complaints were resolved to the complete satisfaction of the customer as per Ola Electric’s robust redressal mechanism,” Ola Electric added.
