1. Issue notices to the respondents in the main petition as well as
in the interim application returnable within a period of four
weeks subject to taking of steps within a week’s period for
filing of reply/objections.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner in respect of his prayer
for grant of interim relief and considered his submissions.
Perused the interim application which is supported by an
affidavit. Also perused the main petition and copies of the
documents enclosed with the same, especially the
order/judgment impugned.

3. List on 21st February, 2025.

4. In the meantime, subject to any vacation or modification, upon
the consideration of objections/arguments and till next date of
hearing before the Bench, the operation of impugned order/
judgment dated 19-12-2024 passed in appeal titled “Nazir
Ahmad Ganai Vs. Commissioner SMC and Ors” by the J &
K Special Tribunal, Srinagar, shall remain stayed and the
parties are directed to maintain status quo in respect of the
subject matter of the writ petition/dispute.
