Heard Mr. Rendy Maibam, learned counsel appearing for the

petitioner and Ms. Ch. Sundari, learned GA appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner approached this Court for a direction to dispose

of the statutory revision application dated 01.10.2024 filed by the petitioner

under Section 12(2) of the Manipur (Village Authorities in Hill Areas) Act,

1956 within a stipulated period of time as per law.

This Court issued notice on 05.12.2024.

During the course of hearing, the learned counsel appearing

for the petitioner submits that the matter may be disposed of at this stage

by directing the respondent No. 1 to decide the pending revision application

as per law as expeditiously as possible.

Ms. Ch. Sundari, learned GA appearing for the respondents

submits that the revision was preferred after expiry of the statutory period

of limitation. This Court may pass appropriate order directing the

respondent No. 1 to dispose of the application as per law.

Recording the submissions made at the Bar, this Court is

appropriate to dispose of the revision application by directing the

respondent No. 1 to dispose of the pending revision application dated

01.10.2024 filed by the petitioner under Section 12 (2) of the Act as per law

as expeditiously as possible.

Accordingly, the present writ petition along with pending

application stand disposed of.
