1. Applicant has filed this first bail application under Section 483 of Bhartiya

Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of regular bail as he has been

arrested in connection with Crime No. 01/2024 registered at Police Station –

Chandrapur, District Sakti (C.G.) for offence punishable under Sections 363,

366, 376, 506, 109, 120-B of IPC and Section 04, 17 of the POCSO Act, 2012.

2. Learned counsel for applicant submits that during pendency of this

application, evidence of victim has already been recorded by the trial court.

Hence, he may be permitted to withdraw this application. However, he

submits that direction be issued to the trial court to expedite the trial.

3. Considering the submission made by learned counsel for applicant and that

out of 25 witnesses 16 witnesses have already been examined, learned Trial

court is directed to expedite the trial and to take necessary steps and

measures as provided under BNSS, 2023 for causing presence of prosecution

witnesses.
