1. Delay condoned.
2. It is inter alia contended that vide order dated 24.01.2025,
this Court categorically directed the respondents to redetermine
the compensation in accordance with the provisions of Right to Fair
Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation
and Resettlement Act, 2013 (in short, the “2013 Act”). However, a
bare perusal of the award dated 19.04.2025 passed pursuant thereto,

Reason:
clearly shows that the Authorities have again redetermined the
compensation as per the old Act i.e., Land Acquisition Act, 1894.
3. Issue notice to the Principal Secretary, Avas Evam Vikas
Parishad, Uttar Pradesh as well as the Additional District
Magistrate (Land Acquisition), Lakhimpur Kheri to show cause as to
why Contempt of Court proceedings be not initiated against them in
accordance with the provisions of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971,
returnable on 15.09.2025.
