On 7th June 2025, Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, Vice-Chancellor, National Law University (NLU) Delhi, successfully conducted an online master class on “AI in Legal and Interdisciplinary Academic Research”. The session received an overwhelming response and was attended by over 140 participants from our institution and outside, including 46 students, 54 research scholars, 34 faculty members and other professionals. Prof. (Dr.) Bajpai deployed his decades of experience in research and teaching to kickstart a vibrant dialogue on the ways AI tools can be used smartly and judiciously to enhance our efficiency and productivity during literature review, sourcing of relevant material, data extraction, data analysis, and other phases of research.
This master class marks the beginning of an innovative program series through which NLU Delhi plans to fill a critical gap in scholars’ research-tech skills. Please keep a watch out as we plan more detailed workshops focused on the use of AI technologies at various stages of research. Along with the quality of our work, our speed and efficiency will determine our path to success going further.
