[This case is being taken up today as 14th April, 2025 was declared a holiday on account
of Ambedkar Jayanti vide Notification dated 7th April, 2025]
1. The present petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No.
482/2021 dated 4th September, 2021, registered at P.S. Najaf Garh for the
offences under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860,1 as
well as all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom. This request is
made in light of the amicable settlement reached between the parties, as
evidenced by the Memorandum of Understanding/ Settlement Deed
executed on 19th September 2024, between Petitioner No. 1 and Respondent
No.2/ Complainant. A copy of the aforementioned Settlement Agreement
