UPON hearing the counsel, the Court made the following
O R D E R

1. Heard learned senior counsel for the petitioner.

2. The petitioner stands convicted for the offences punishable
under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. The revision
against conviction preferred by the petitioner has been dismissed

Reason:

amount of the cheque in question is Rs.15 Lakhs. The cheque was
issued on 26.12.2009. The Trial Court has imposed fine equaling

twice the cheque amount on the petitioner along with imprisonment
of two years. The High Court, while dismissing the revision of the
petitioner, has set aside the sentence of two years awarded to the
petitioner.

3. It is submitted by Mr. Sidharth Luthra, learned senior counsel
representing the petitioner that the petitioner has already
deposited a sum of Rs.15 Lakhs during the course of the proceedings
of the revision filed before the High Court and that she is ready
to deposit the remaining amount of Rs.15 Lakhs in this Court.

4. Let the said amount of Rs.15 Lakhs be deposited before this
Court on or before 22.07.2025. The petitioner shall furnish an
undertaking to this effect within two weeks from today. On such
deposit being made, the same shall be kept in a Fixed Deposit
Account for a period of three months, with auto renewal facility.

5. Subject to the deposit of the amount with the Registry of this
Court, let notice be issued to the respondents. Rule is made
returnable on 22.07.2025.

6. Dasti service, in addition, is granted.

7. The effect and operation of the non-bailable warrants issued
against the petitioner shall remain stayed till next date of
listing.

8. List on 22.07.2025.
