1. The petitioner has been denied anticipatory bail by the High

Court in connection with the First Information Report No. 5/2025

Reason:
registered with Police Station Kamboj, District Amritsar Rural for

the offence punishable under Sections 115(2), 333 and 3(5) of the

Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (erstwhile Sections 323, 452, and 34

of the Indian Penal Code, 1860).

2. While issuing notice, we also passed an interim order

protecting the petitioner from being arrested.

3. The entire incident occurred on account of a matrimonial

dispute.

4. Today when the matter was taken up for hearing Ms. Nupur

Kumar, the learned counsel appearing for the State appeared and

pointed out that the petitioner has joined the investigation and

has been cooperating. Besides she also pointed out fairly that the

parties are now trying to resolve the dispute.

5. In such circumstances, we allow this petition and order that

in the event of arrest of the petitioner by the police, he shall be

released on bail, subject to terms and conditions that the

Investigating Officer may deem fit to impose.

6. Pending application(s), if any, stand disposed of.
