Amity Quiz on Contemporary Law (AQCL) 2025 [Sept 29]

About the Event

After the resounding success of the 6th AQCL, Amity Law School, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus proudly presents the 7th Edition of the Amity Quiz on Contemporary Law (AQCL) 2025, scheduled to be held offline on 29th September 2025. AQCL has evolved into a national-level legal quiz competition that aims to bring together budding legal minds from across India.

Theme

The theme of AQCL 2025 revolves around Contemporary Laws which defines the modern legal frameworks that respond to the evolving social, technological, environmental and economic realities of the present day. Their relevance lies in their ability to address current challenges, safeguard rights and promote justice in an ever-changing world.

AQCL 25 is a platform to test ones legal aptitude and expand one’s understanding of how law interacts with real-world challenges. The quiz will cover the following core themes:

• Indian Constitution and Fundamental Rights
• Cyber Laws and Online Safety
• Rights of Women and Children
• Environmental Law and Climate Justice
• Consumer Protection and Everyday Laws
• Current Legal Affairs (India & the World)
• Basic Legal Terminologies and Maxims
• Data Privacy and Technology Laws
• Other Related Contemporary Legal Topics

Contemporary laws are essential for building a responsive, inclusive and just legal system that can deal with the 21st century realities. By bridging the gap between traditional legal doctrines and modern societal needs, they ensure that the rule of law remains dynamic, effective, and forward-looking.

Eligibility

• Undergraduate law students (5-Year LL.B. / 3-Year LL.B.)
• Social science students studying Contemporary Law
• School students studying Legal Studies

Quiz Format

• Preliminary & Semi-Final Rounds:
  • Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • True/False Statements
• Final Round: Will include Audio-Visual based questions.

Fee

• For Non-Amitians: ₹750/- per participant (750 + 18% GST inclusive)
• For Amitians: No registration fee

Method of Registration

• Each participant must confirm their registration by sending an email to the official email address: alsaqcl@gmail.com
• Subject of the Email: “Registration for the 7th National Amity Quiz on Contemporary Law (AQCL) 2025”
• Content of the Email: “Name of the participant, contact number, and a statement confirming the successful submission of the Google Form”
• Important: These details must be sent only on the official email ID mentioned above.

• Last Date to Register: 15th September 2025 (till 23:59 hrs)
