1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

2. The petitioner is having firearm license of NPB rifle being Arms License No. 6023/2010/Dibai. On the aforesaid licence the petitioner has purchased the rifle of 315 bore being rifle no. 084213182 made by Indian Ordinance Factory. The aforesaid license of the petitioner has been cancelled by the respondent No.3/District Magistrate, Bulandshahar/Licensing authority under Arms Act vide order 19.02.2021 on the ground that criminal cases i.e. Case Crime No. 405 of 2020, under sections 147, 148, 452, 307, 323, 504, 506, 336 IPC and Case Crime No. 411 2020, under section 27/30 Arms Act were registered against the petitioner. Aggrieved with the aforesaid order, the petitioner preferred statutory appeal being Case No. 00367 of 2021, computerized case no. C20211100000367 (Anwar Khan Vs. State) under section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959 before the respondent No.2/Commissioner, Meerut Division, Meerut which was also dismissed on the same ground vide order dated 06.04.2022. Aggrieved with the aforesaid orders, the petitioner has preferred the present petition.
