UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
1. Notice in this case was issued on 13.06.2025. Ms. Swati
Bhushan Sharma, learned counsel has entered appearance on behalf of
Karnataka State Law University.
2. After hearing learned counsel for the parties and on perusal
of the materials on record, we are of the view that punishment

imposed on the petitioner appears to be on the higher side. This

aspect would be gone into in due course. For the time being, we

allow the petitioner to appear in the fifth semester LLB
examination under the respondent University commencing from
tomorrow, i.e., 17.06.2025.
3. Learned counsel for the respondent University has assured the
Court that she will communicate this order to the Karnataka State
Law University and do the needful like allotting roll number etc.
so that the petitioner can appear in her examination commencing
from 17.06.2025.
