The petitioner filed this petition under Section
166 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, claiming
compensation of Rs.1,50,00,000/- for the injuries
sustained by him in a road traffic accident.
The brief facts of the petitioner’s case are as
under:
2. That on 1.8.2023 at about 9.45 p.m. the
petitioner was proceeding in his two wheeler bearing
registration No.KA-04-JX-5544 from Mahalakshmi
Entrance towards Iskon on the left side on West of
Chord Road, when he reached near Ganesh U turn,
Bengaluru, at that time suddenly the driver of the
Bus bearing registration No.KA-51-A-0630 came with
high speed in a rash and negligent manner dashed
against the motor cycle. Due to the impact, the
petitioner fell down, the wheels of the bus ran over
the legs of the petitioner.
