Nature of Internship
This is a remote assessment internship for a Legal Tech Intern. You will work at the intersection of law and technology, supporting the research and development of legal tech initiatives at Team Counsel. The role involves understanding how legal services can be streamlined, mapping legal workflows, creating content for tech interfaces, and assisting in the documentation of features and user journeys. You’ll be part of a team exploring how legal processes can be reimagined for efficiency and scale.
Location
The Internship is in remote mode.
Who can apply?
- Law student (4th/5th year of a 5-year program or 2nd/3rd year of a 3-year program)
- Strong research skills with the ability to study and analyze legal processes and tech-driven legal solutions
- Interest in legal innovation, legal operations, and the evolving legal tech landscape
- Ability to document workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose structured improvements
- Clear writing and structuring skills for preparing internal notes, process maps, and content outlines
- Analytical thinking with attention to detail and clarity in structuring information
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setup
- Prior exposure to legal tech or legal service delivery models (preferred but not mandatory)
Stipend
The first month will be unpaid. If the internship is extended beyond the first month, the intern will be eligible for a stipend based on their performance and the satisfaction of the team
Duration of internship
3-month assessment internship as a Legal Tech Intern.
