1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-State.

Present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner inter-alia with the prayer to quash the order dated 09.04.2024 passed by the respondent no.2-Commissioner, Kanpur Division, Kanpur in Appeal No. 1394 of 2021 (Ateek Khan Versus State of U.P.) and order dated 22.03.2021 passed by the respondent no.3-District Magistrate, Fatehpur in Case No. 212 of 2021 (State of U.P. Versus Ateek Khan).
3. It is argued by the learned counsel for the petitioner that firearms license of the petitioner was cancelled only on the ground that two criminal cases being Case Crime No.267 of 2020 under Sections 323, 504 & 506 of I.P.C. and Case Crime No.45 of 2020 under Sections 457, 382 & 411 of I.P.C. is pending against the petitioner.
