At Hammurabi & Solomon Partners, we remain committed to fostering a workplace rooted in dignity, safety, and inclusivity. On 22nd May 2025, we hosted a focused and engaging Awareness Event on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace (POSH), aimed at sensitising professionals across our premises to the legal framework and inclusive implementation of the POSH Act, 2013, and to promote a gender-neutral and inclusive approach for the complaints mechanism under Internal Complaints Committee (ICC).
Anchored by Ms. Pranshu Singgh, who set the tone with an interactive and thoughtful opening, gave insight of the services provided by Hammurabi & Solomon Partners and laying the groundwork for the important discussions that followed.
– The origins of the POSH Act and its constitutional foundation
– Understanding various forms of sexual harassment
– Structure and role of Internal Committees
– Complaint redressal mechanisms
– Employer obligations and inclusive policy-making
Following the presentation, the audience witnessed a powerful Nukkad Natak titled “Bas, Ab Aur Nahi”, performed by the renowned Sugandha Natya Manch. The street play vividly portrayed incidents of sexual harassment at the workplace, demonstrated how the ICC can be approached for redressal, and broadened the narrative to include male survivors of harassment, an aspect often neglected in mainstream discourse.
The event concluded with a warm vote of thanks by Ms. Pranshu, who expressed appreciation to all the speakers, performers, and attendees for their active participation and support.
This meaningful initiative was organised under the guidance of Ms. Shweta Bharti, Managing Partner, and curated by Ms. Sonali Khanna along with her team, Ms. Vanshika Gupta, Ms. Rushika Bakshi, Ms. Sukriti Verma and Ms. Ankita Singh. The event reinforced the firm’s commitment to building a workplace culture grounded in safety, dignity, equality, and inclusivity.
