The applicant was granted short term
bail on 31.07.2024 in FIR/Case Crime
No.173 of 2023, under Sections 406,
419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC,
Police Station Kotdwar, District Pauri
Garhwal on the ground of illness, which
was extended further.
Now, Time Extension Application
(MCRC) Nos.4 of 2024 and 5 of 2025
have been filed.
Learned counsel for the applicant
would submit that after surgical
procedure, the doctor advised the
applicant for complete bed rest.
Therefore, her short term bail may be
extended.
Having considered, without adverting
to the merits, purely on humanitarian
ground, the Court is of the view that the
time extension applications deserve to be
allowed.
The time extension applications are
allowed.
The short term bail granted to the
applicant is extended to a further period
of 08 weeks from the date of its expiry. It
is further directed that, on expiry of the
duration of extended short term bail, the
applicant shall surrender before the
court concerned and intimation to that
effect shall also be given to this Court.
