1. This Appeal is directed against the judgment and order
dated 24.08.1998 passed by the learned Sessions Judge,
Dhenkanal-Angul
Angul at Dhenkanal in Sessions Trial Case No. 30-D

of 1995, wherein the sole Appellant,
Appellant, along with five others, stood
trial for the offences under Sections 120-B,
120 B, 394, 364, 307, 302,
201, 411, and 353 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code
(hereinafter referred to as the “IPC”)) for having entered into a
criminal conspiracy to commit
commit robbery, kidnapping, attempt to

murder, causing disappearance of evidence, dishonestly receiving
stolen property, and using criminal force to deter a public servant
from discharging his duty, besides committing murder.
