The author hereby gives an opportunity to the esteemed legal fraternity to showcase their research aptitude and analytical skills by submitting research papers in the form of chapters in the book “Traditional and Contemporary Criminal Jurisprudence.”
About the Author
Dr. Vinod Kumar Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Laws at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, specializing in criminal and civil law. With over 11 years of teaching experience, he has published 11 research papers in UGC CARE-listed and peer-reviewed journals, along with 5 chapters in edited books and an authored book on the execution of decree.
Currently supervising five Ph.D. scholars, Dr. Sharma is also leading an ongoing ICSSR-funded research project. An active academic, he has presented at more than 15 national and international seminars and conferences while also organizing three National Seminars.
Additionally, he serves as Incharge of the Moot Court Society and contributes to the Cultural Committee, demonstrating his commitment to both academic and institutional development.

Submission Guidelines
- Articles should be written in Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5-line spacing.
- Word limit – 3,000–5,000 words (excluding references).
- Referencing Style – Indian Law Institute (ILI)
- All submissions will be evaluated based on originality, depth of research, relevance, and coherence. 10% Plagiarism allowed with reference of the text. Usage of AI is strictly prohibited.
