1. This hearing has been done through hybrid mode.

2. This is an application filed on behalf of the Appellant – Mrs. Minu Devi
seeking interim suspension of sentence for a period of three months.
3. The said suspension is sought on the ground of the marriage of the
daughter of the Appellant, initially for ring ceremony and, thereafter, for
marriage related functions. Documents in support of the said submission have
been attached with the present application.
4. Let the Central Bureau of Investigation (hereinafter, ‘CBI’) verify the
facts and file status report by the next date of hearing.

6. In certain matters, sentences of the respective Appellants have been
suspended by this Court. The details of the said appeals and corresponding
orders are as under:
(i) Crl.A.441/2020 titled Manju Devi vs. State: sentence suspended
vide order dated 7th April, 2025;
(ii) Crl.A.575/2020 titled Hema Masih vs. The State: sentence
suspended vide order dated 28th May, 2025;
(iii) Crl.A. 10/2021 titled Neha Kumari vs. State (CBI, SPE, SCB,
Patna Bihar): sentence suspended vide order dated 29th April, 2025.
7. Vide order dated 31st July, 2025, the interim suspension granted vide
above orders was extended till today.
8. Further, in Crl.A.456/2020 titled Vikas Kumar vs. State through
Central Bureau of Investigation SPE, SCB, Patna, Bihar vide order dated
8th August, 2025, the Appellant was granted interim suspension of sentence

9. Considering the above, the interim suspension granted to the concerned
Appellants shall continue till the next date of hearing on the same terms as per
the respective orders mentioned above.
10. Mr. Mohit Mathur, ld. Senior Counsel for the Appellant has concluded
his submissions in Crl. A. 308/2020 titled Dilip Kumar Verma vs. State.
11. The Court has clearly enquired from all ld. Counsels as to who all wish
to make oral submissions. Today, the Court is informed that the following

Rajesh Kumar, ld. SPP for the CBI may commence his submissions.
