About the Role
Arjun Singh Puri is hiring a Legal Associate with a strong interest in law and a passion for engaging with the business side of transactions. The ideal candidate should be confident in drafting, negotiating, and advising across a range of commercial and regulatory matters.
About the Practice
This is a boutique legal practice focused on India’s renewable energy sector. The team works closely with project developers, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), and EPC contractors. The role promises real responsibility from Day 1 and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact deals shaping India’s clean energy future.
Key Responsibilities

Drafting Turbine Supply Agreements, EPC Contracts, and Land Aggregation Agreements

Supporting M&A transactions and conducting legal due diligence

Advising on tax and regulatory compliance matters

Collaborating with legal, commercial, and operations teams to close complex renewable energy deals
Eligibility & Requirements

BBA LL.B. from a recognized Indian university
-
AIBE-qualified and enrolled with a State Bar Council
-
1–3 years of experience in a law firm or corporate legal department

Excellent drafting and communication skills

Prior exposure to infrastructure or energy sector preferred

Interest in renewable energy and comfort working on commercial issues

Proficiency in MS Word; MS Excel is an added advantage
