About the Call for Chapters

We invite original, unpublished research papers for an edited volume titled: “Handbook on Virtual Digital Assets in India: Legal, Regulatory and Economic Perspectives”

As India emerges as a key player in the global digital economy, Virtual Digital Assets (VDAs) such as cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and tokenized securities present both opportunities and challenges. With evolving taxation policies, regulatory frameworks, cross-border trade, cybersecurity concerns, and the interplay with financial markets, there is a pressing need to critically engage with the law and policy governing VDAs in India.

This volume seeks to bring together diverse perspectives from academia, practice, and policy to explore the current and future of VDAs in India.
