CAM advises Neo Infra on ₹1500 crore acquisition of road assets, ET LegalWorld

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM has acted as the legal counsel to Neo Infra Income Opportunities Fund, a SEBI registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund, acting through its Investment Manager, Neo Asset Management Private Limited (“Neo”) in its acquisition of two operational road assets for ₹ 1500 crore from CDS Infra Projects Limited (“CDS”).

The two road assets developed under the National Highway Authority of India’s Hybrid Annuity Model are located in Haryana and Punjab and form part of 669 km Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway. CDS and Neo have entered into the Securities Purchase Agreements, inter alia, for acquisition of the entire share capital of the two road assets.

The transaction Team included Ajay Sawhney, Partner (Head – Northern Region); Aditi Misra, Partner, with support from Aseem Sahni, Senior Associate, Ragini Agarwal, Senior Associate and Aishik Majumder, Associate.

The Diligence Team for the Projects, Finance, and Permits included Aishik Majumder and Pulkit Zamindar, Associate; and Corporate, Employment, and Insurance included Ravi Shah, Partner; Bhakti Madan, Senior Associate; and Vidhi Shah, Associate.
