For the Petitioner: M/s Jitendra Shankar Singh, Shabina Perween, Advocates
For the O.P-State: Mr. Saket Kumar, A.P.P.

03 / 02.04.2025 Heard the parties.

2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 487
of 2024 arising out of Daltonganj Town P.S. Case No. 333 of 2024
corresponding to G.R. No. 1761 of 2024 for the offences registered under
sections 80, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of
learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Palamau at Daltonganj.

3. Petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased Ranjeeta Devi who
died due to asphyxia because of hanging in her matrimonial home.

4. Postmortem report earlier called for, has been received, from perusal of
which, it appears that no mechanical injury was found on the person of the
deceased apart from ligature mark. It further appears that some of the witnesses
have stated that the deceased used to talk with another person which was
opposed by the petitioner and his family members, due to which, she
committed suicide.

5. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on
bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail
on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two
sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional
Sessions Judge-V, Palamau at Daltonganj in connection with S.T. Case No. 487
of 2024 arising out of Daltonganj Town P.S. Case No. 333 of 2024
