Conference Theme & Objectives

The conference will explore cross-disciplinary approaches to trademark infringement, aiming to:

• Analyze recent legal developments and landmark cases.
• Examine economic impacts of infringement on brands and sectors.
• Investigate technology’s role, including AI, blockchain, and e-commerce.
• Study socio-cultural influences like consumer behaviour and cultural appropriation.
• Share best practices for trademark management and protection.
• Foster collaboration among academia, industry, and policymakers.

Call for Papers

Participants are invited to submit original, unpublished research across five sub-theme categories:

• Legal Dimensions: Laws, enforcement, judicial interpretation, international treaties.
• Commercial Perspectives: Brand valuation, risk management, marketing challenges.
• Technological Aspects: E-commerce, AI, blockchain, domain disputes.
• Socio-Cultural Considerations: Cultural appropriation, globalization, ethics.
• Comparative Approaches: Cross-jurisdictional analysis, policy reform, education.

Submission Guidelines

• Abstract (≤300 words) by 5 July 2025.
• Full paper (3000–5000 words) by 8 July 2025.
• Selected participants notified by 9 July 2025.



• Final submission by 10 July 2025.
• Papers must follow ILI or OSCOLA citation style with <10% similarity and <5% AI usage. Accepted papers will be published in conference proceedings (ISBN) or relevant journals (ISSN). Awards include Best Paper and Best Student Paper.

How to Submit?

Research papers are invited on the above mentioned sub themes. The list of sub themes provided is not exhaustive. All submissions shall strictly adhere to the following formatting Guidelines. Co Authorship upto 3 shall be permitted. Submission of Abstract for the aforesaid mentioned conference should be reached by 05/07/2025, 11:59 PM in the following mail id: iprconferencessl@gmail.com.
