2. Petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 81/2020 of PS Connaught Place
for offences under Section 420/468/471/120-B IPC on merits.
3. Learned APP for State and learned counsel for respondent no. 2
(complainant de facto) accept notice. Status report/reply be filed within four
weeks.
4. Relist on 26.08.2025.
5. Learned counsel for petitioners has taken me through Annexure-P24
and seeks interim protection against coercive process. In reference thereto, it
is submitted by learned counsel that present petitioner nos. 2 and 3 joined

service of the petitioner no. 1 bank much subsequent to the alleged offence.
It is submitted that petitioner nos. 2 and 3 joined service sometime in the
year 2020 and 2024 respectively while the alleged fraud and forgery took
place in the year 2002. Learned counsel for complainant de facto in all
fairness does not object to grant of interim protection. Learned APP submits
that the role of the bank officials of 2002 is being investigated.
6. Under these circumstances, it is directed that till next date no coercive
process shall be taken against petitioner nos. 2 and 3. However, petitioner
nos. 2 and 3 shall join investigation as and when directed in writing by the
IO.
