Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the

State .

2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for

the offence punishable under section 395 of Indian Penal Code .

3 . As per the prosecution case , on 09.04.2018 at about

07:10 PM , when informant was returning home , 2 miscreants

riding on motorcycle intercepted him and on the point of gun

snatched cash of Rs. 8,000/- , bag , ATM Card, cheque and

mobile of informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that

petitioner is not named in the F.I.R., and his name transpired

during course of investigation in confessional statement of co-

accused persons. No incriminating material has been recovered

from the possession of this petitioner and he is in no way

connected with the aforesaid occurrence .

5 . Learned counsel for the State opposed and

submitted that this petitioner along with other co-accused

persons, on the point of pistol, looted cash of informant.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and gravity of

offence , prayer for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner is rejected.
