Heard the learned Advocate for the petitioners and the
learned APP for the State.
2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection
with Basnahi P.S. Case No. 61 of 2024, registered for the
offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 325,
307, 447 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and later on, Section
302 of the Indian Penal Code was added.
3. On the fateful day, all the FIR named accused
persons, including the petitioners, after forming unlawful
assembly, armed with lathi, danda and iron rod came there and
started abusing the informant and others. It is specifically
alleged that the accused persons dragged the family members of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.76455 of 2024(2) dt.20-12-2024
the informant out of the house and assaulted indiscriminately,
due to which three persons have sustained injuries, in which one
person died during the course of treatment.
