04/ 16.04.2025: Heard, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for
the State.
2. This is an application filed by the petitioners praying for grant of
anticipatory bail in terms of Sections 482 and 484 of Bharatiya Nagarik
Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 apprehending their arrest for the offences under
Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 325, 341, 353, 307, 332, 333, 427, 379, 224, 225, 120(B)
of IPC further added Section 411 of IPC.
3. Learned A.P.P. opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the
petitioner.
4. There is an allegation that this petitioner and others tried to rescue
Surya Narayan Hansda from the custody of the police. The petitioner is named
in the F.I.R along with 12 others named accused and huge number of unknown
persons.
5. Considering the nature of the allegation against the petitioner, I am
not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the
prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner in connection with Borio P.S.
Case No.61 of 2021, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial
Magistrate, Sahibganj, stands rejected.
