Rules, 2016.

2. Heard Ms. I rum Zeba, learned counsel for

t he pet it ioner, Mr. Bhupendra Singh Koranga, learned

3. Ms. I rum Zeba, Advocat e, subm it t ed t hat t he

pet it ioner has been doing st reet vending near Tibet an

Market , in front of D.S.O. Office at Nainit al for t he last

5- 6 years. He is a perm anent resident of Nainit al. He

has no ot her source of incom e. The respondent no.3

has const it ut ed a Town Vending Com m it t ee. The said

com m it t ee has considered t he claim s of various st reet

vendors and provided t hem regist rat ion under t he

provisions of t he St reet Vendors ( Prot ect ion of

Livelihood and Regulat ion of St reet Vending) Act , 2014

and provisions of t he Ut t arakhand St reet Vendors

( Prot ect ion of Livelihood and Regulat ion of St reet

Vending) Rules, 2016. The pet it ioner has m oved an

Applicat ion dat ed 07.03.2025 ( annexure no.1 t o t he

writ pet it ion) before t he respondent no.3. The said

Applicat ion is st ill pending.

4. Ms. I rum Zeba, Advocat e, has request ed t o

decide t he present writ pet it ion direct ing t he

respondent no.3 t o decide t he pet it ioner ‘s Applicat ion

dat ed 07.03.2025 ( annexure no.1 t o t he writ pet it ion)

as expedit iously as possible.

5. Mr. Bhupendra Singh Bisht , Advocat e, has

sought six weeks’ t im e t o decide t he said Applicat ion.

6. Wit h t he consent of bot h t he part ies, t he

present Writ Pet it ion ( WPMS No. 1112 of 2025) is

disposed of direct ing t he respondent no.3 t o decide t he

said Applicat ion dat ed 07.03.2025 ( annexure no.1 t o

t he writ pet it ion) as expedit iously as possible but not

lat er t han six weeks from t he dat e of product ion of

cert ified copy of t his order.

7. I t is m ade clear t hat t his Court has not

expressed any opinion on t he m erit of t he case.
