S.S. Mishra, J. The present Criminal Appeal, filed by the appellant
under Sections 374 of the Cr. P.C., is directed against the judgment and
order dated 20.07.2004 passed by the learned Special Judge, Sonepur in
Sessions Case No.40/30 of 2002, whereby the learned trial Court while
acquitting the appellant of the charges under Sections 294 of I.P.C. read
with Section 3(1)(x) of SC & ST (PoA) Act, convicted the appellant for
the offence under Section 506 of I.P.C. The appellant was sentenced to
pay a fine of Rs.500/-, in default, to undergo R.I. for three months on
that count.
