The respondent/ Special Land Acquisition

Officer (SLAO for short), KHB, Bengaluru, has sent

this reference under Section 77(1) of Right to Fair

Compensation and Transparency in Land

Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act,

2013.

.2. The brief facts of the case is that the land

bearing Sy.No.42/2 measuring 2 acres 37 guntas

of Byalalu village, Tavarekere Hobli, Bengaluru

South Taluka, has been acquired for the purpose

of construction of houses. Preliminary notification

has been issued on 19.03.2011 and final

notification has been issued on 27.11.2012. The

L.A.C.13/2022

award has been passed on 02.09.2015. The

L.A.O., has awarded a sum of Rs.3,13,54,037/-.

As there was a dispute regarding title of the

parties, the LAO has referred the matter to this

Court for apportionment. The LAO has deposited a

sum of Rs.3,13,54,037/- and the said amount has

been kept in F.D., in the State Bank of India,

Cauvery Bhavan Branch, Bengaluru.
