Greaves Cotton Limited has announced the appointment of M/s Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP as its new Statutory Auditor, following the conclusion of M/s Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP’s second five-year term.

The decision was taken at the Company’s Board of Directors meeting held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. The Board approved and recommended the appointment of Price Waterhouse for a term of five consecutive years, starting from the conclusion of the 106th Annual General Meeting (AGM) until the conclusion of the 111th AGM, subject to shareholder approval.

M/s Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP, the outgoing auditor, is set to retire at the upcoming 106th AGM after completing their statutory limit of two terms of five years each.

This transition marks a routine but significant step in the company’s governance cycle, ensuring continued independent oversight of its financial statements. The proposed appointment of Price Waterhouse comes in alignment with regulatory norms under the Company Act, 2013 mandating no re-appoint of an audit firm as auditor for more than two terms of five consecutive years.
