The second day of the 2nd Edition Economic Times Global Legal Convention and Awards 2025, a premier event celebrating excellence, innovation, and leadership in the legal industry, was held in Four Seasons, Mumbai. The event aimed to bring together legal professionals, thought leaders, and policymakers from around the globe.

The day began with the Keynote Address by Saakar Yadav, Founder & CMD – Lexlegis.AI. He addressed the issue related to hallucinations and focused on bringing transparency in the deployment of responsible artificial intelligence.

The panel discussions were held on the wide array of topics such as: challenges related to boardroom accountability in the backdrop of contemporary developments, navigating challenges related to data protection and cybersecurity, regulatory concerns for AI, and concerns related to the regulation of artificial intelligence.

The panels further discussed and deliberated on addressing the challenges and prospects of deploying automation in the legal operation, and understanding the new approach for carrying forward the PE/VC deals.

In conjunction with the convention on the second day of the convention, the Global Legal Awards 2025 also recognised outstanding contributions across various sectors of the legal field. The award aimed to honor those who have demonstrated exceptional performance and innovation.

Justice B.N. Srikrishna, Former judge at the Supreme Court of India; Lalit Bhasin, President of Society of Indian Law Firms; and Amit Desai, Senior Advocate at the Bombay High Court facilitated the winners, and honored exceptional achievements across diverse areas of legal practice.
