About the Event
School of Law, CHRIST (DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY), PUNE-Lavasa Campus Debate and Literary Society, in collaboration with the Centre for Competitive Examinations, proudly presents its flagship Parliamentary Debate Competition.
This prestigious competition invites both law and non-law students from universities across India to engage in high-level discourse, showcasing their critical thinking, argumentation, and persuasive skills. The competition structure is as follows:
- Preliminary Rounds: Conducted online, allowing teams from across the country to participate with ease.
- Octa-Finals, Quarter-finals, Semi-finals, and Finals: Conducted offline at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa campus, offering participants the opportunity to debate in a dynamic, intellectual atmosphere.
The Online Mode will be held on 6 , and 7 September, 2025 and the qualifying teams will be competing in offline rounds on 27 and 28 of September, 2025. This event promises thought-provoking, intense debates, and an enriching experience for all participants.
Eligibility
This competition is open to all students across universities in India, welcoming both law and non-law students to engage in rigorous discourse, test their oratory skills, and challenge perspectives in a battle of wits.
