InterGlobe Aviation faces ₹1.30 cr penalty over Input Tax Credit dispute, ET LegalWorld

InterGlobe Aviation Limited has received a penalty of ₹ 1,30,40,966/- after the tax officer has denied input tax credit availed for FY 2020-21 and has raised demand on the Company, said the InterGlobe Aviation Limited in their regulatory filing.

The Company is likely to challenge the order before an appropraite authority. “The Company believes that it has accurately availed input tax credit and has merits in its case. Accordingly, the Company is evaluating necessary legal recourse under the applicable law including filing of appeal,” said InterGlobe Aviation Limited said in their regulatory filing.

The disclosure before the exchange was made under Disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
