First-Day Formalities, Infrastructure, and First Impression
The NDA was signed, and mentors were allotted based on the interns’ areas of interest. The infrastructure was comfortable, with designated spaces arranged for interns. Overall, the office environment was decent and accommodating.
Main Tasks
I worked with both the Real Estate and IPR teams, gaining exposure to a wide range of tasks. I assisted in drafting title due diligence reports, reviewing property documents, and identifying potential legal issues related to ownership and title.
On the IPR side, I was involved in preparing trademark search reports for various wordmarks and understanding the filing process. I also conducted legal research related to intellectual property law, civil/commercial litigation, and arbitration.
Work Environment
The work environment was positive, with associates being kind, approachable, and supportive. They took the time to explain assignments clearly and provided helpful feedback on the tasks allotted, which motivated interns to stay engaged and perform better.
There were no stressful work conditions or rigid deadlines, making it a comfortable space for learning.
Good Things about the Internship
The associates were kind and helpful, giving interns the space to learn and encouraging questions without hesitation. The co-interns were also friendly and supportive, both with tasks and in general. The overall environment was positive and relaxed.
Bad Things about the Internship
The internship experience largely depends on the mentor, as the type and amount of work allotted can vary. Interns are free to approach any associate for work, regardless of their assigned mentor. Some days may be busier with more tasks, while other days might have little to no work.
This isn’t necessarily a bad thing; it depends on the team’s workload and how proactive the intern is in seeking tasks.

I stayed in a PG located just 300 meters from the office, which was very convenient.
