About Digital India Bhashini Division
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) under the Digital India Programme has undertaken a unique initiative, Bhashini, the National Language Translation Mission.
In order to build this ecosystem, The Digital India Bhashini Division (DIBD), an Independent Business Division under Digital India Corporation (DIC). The DIBD is managing and executing the activities of “National Language Translation Mission”: Bhashini. Bhashini has been developed as a platform where various components have been integrated to bring stakeholders together. Bhashini works with some of the premier academic institutes, including IITs and IIITs) in India.
About the Internship
The Digital India Bhashini Division is inviting applications for Internships.
Eligibility
Indian students enrolled at recognised universities in India who have attained a minimum of 60% marks in their most recently completed degree, or who are currently pursuing a degree program and have completed at least two years of study in Bachelor’s in LL.B.
Note: Possessing the minimum qualifications as stated above does not guarantee an internship at DIBD. Candidates with relevant internship exposure, a strong academic background, and higher qualifications may be given preference based on organisational needs.
Duration
The Internship Programme shall be conducted twice a year, with the specific duration to be decided by the Competent Authority. The programme will be organised in batches, and all relevant details, including schedules, guidelines, and other necessary instructions will be shared with the selected interns at the time of commencement.
The minimum duration of internship shall be two months, extendable up to three months, depending on the performance of the candidate, requirement of DIBD and time the intern is willing to spend with DIBD. Every batch of interns or individual interns will have a Mentor from DIBD.

The internship will be offered at New Delhi.

Stipend
A monthly stipend of ₹20,000 will be provided. For further details, please refer to the internship guidelines.
The criteria for deserving interns will be decided based on their (a) attendance, (b) assessment by their respective reporting officers; and (c) evaluation of the report by the Committee.
