About the Internship
Vinod Kothari & Company is inviting applications for a 3-month internship at its offices located in New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Mumbai. This internship is ideal for students with a keen interest in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law. Preference will be given to candidates who possess academic or prior working knowledge of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
(i) Enrolled in a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated law programme
(ii) Strong research and analytical skills
(iii) Ability to work both independently and within a team
(iv) Proficient in legal writing, communication, and organization
(v) Prior experience or exposure to IBC will be considered an advantage
(vi) Comfortable with drafting, research, and physical court visits where applicable
Roles & Responsibilities
Selected interns will be expected to:
(i) Assist with legal research, drafting, and compliance-related work
(ii) Draft legal documents, conduct legal analysis, and prepare case summaries
(iii) Contribute actively to ongoing projects and enhance legal writing skills
(iv) Assist in developing and editing legal content
(v) Support the legal team with research and administrative tasks
(vi) Participate in the drafting and reviewing of agreements and filings
