Leave granted.

The appellant was arrested in connection with

Crime No.641/2022 registered at Police Station-

Sakri, District-Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh for the

offences punishable under Sections 302, 120B, 201,

341/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short

‘the IPC’) and under Sections 25 and 27 of the

Arms Act, 1959.

The appellant is the father of the victim.

The case of the prosecution is that the appellant

along with the other co-accused committed the

Signature Not Verified offence of homicide against his own son.

The appellant has been incarcerated for a

period of approximately two years and eight

months.

Considering the fact that one of the co-

accused has already been granted bail and that the

appellant is stated to be 76 years old, we are

inclined to grant bail to the appellant.

Accordingly, the impugned order is set aside

and the appellant is granted bail on such terms

and conditions to the satisfaction of the Trial

Court.

The appeal stands allowed, accordingly.

Pending applications, if any, shall also

stand disposed of.
