Petitioners filed Claim Petition U/Sec.166 of M.V. Act
claiming compensation of Rs.50,00,000/- for the death of
deceased Syed Basheer Ahmed @ Basheer Ahmed, in road
traffic accident occurred on 08.04.2023.
2. The brief facts of the petition are as under:
On 08.04.2023, at about 1.35 p.m., the Syed Basheer
Ahmed @ Basheer Ahmed was selling the vegetables and
fruits in his shop on Kadapa – Bangaluru road, at that time
the driver of Mahendra XUV Car bearing No. KA.05.MY.2077
came from Bangalore side at high speed, in a rash and
negligent manner and dashed to the shop of the Syed
Basheer Ahmed @ Basheer Ahmed, in turn the Syed
Basheer Ahmed @ Basheer Ahmed dashed to the T shirts
shop and also to the persons who are in shop and standing
in front of the shops and caused the accident. Due to the
said impact, Syed Basheer Ahmed @ Basheer Ahmed
sustained grievous injuries all over the body and died on the
spot.
