About Digital Repository for Indian Scholarly Texts & Information (DRISTI)
In an increasingly digital academic environment, the need for a unified and institutionally reliable platform to host, preserve, and disseminate scholarly research from India has become essential. The Digital Repository for Indian Scholarly Texts & Information (DRISTI) is a National Academic Portal initiative is launched by the Centre for Development of Intellectual Property and Research (CDIPR), Naovina Development of Intellectual Property and Research Foundation to meet this demand by providing a structured, open-access and internationally compliant digital repository for academic journals, research articles and thematic scholarly works.
DRISTI Portal is conceived as a comprehensive knowledge infrastructure to empower Indian academia through centralized digital access, rigorous indexing and global scholarly visibility. The portal integrates robust digital tools with high academic standards to ensure that Indian research receives the recognition, accessibility and preservation it deserves. The initiative is established in association with the Protection of Child and Human Rights Foundation (PCHR Foundation).
The PCHR Foundation strengthens DRISTI’s commitment to academic justice, equitable access and inclusive participation in the dissemination of scholarly knowledge, especially for underrepresented communities and institutions. For more details, please refer the DRISTI Portal Brochure.
We are inviting Academic Institutions, Universities, Colleges, Research Centres, Governmental Organisation and Research Groups to enter into a Joint Publication Collaboration for any of the following journals which will be hosted on the DRISTI Portal in Phase 1.

Objectives of the Institutional Collaboration
- To create a trusted platform for the joint publication of academic journals between institutions and national-level research foundations.
- To promote open access and ethical research dissemination.
- To support academic institutions in enhancing their research profiles and NAAC/NIRF/UGC performance metrics.
- To provide a technically compliant and globally discoverable platform for Indian research.
- To enable transparent, peer-reviewed publishing for faculty, scholars and institutions across the country.
Nature of Collaboration
We invite interested parties to jointly publish the above journals on the DRISTI Portal. The collaboration shall involve:
- Joint branding of the journal with your institution’s name/logo
- Shared editorial and peer-review responsibilities
- Visibility of the journal as part of your institution’s research contribution

Please note: We are only considering Indian Institutions/Organisations for Phase 1.
How to Apply?
Step 1: Application Submission
Institutions must apply through the Online Application Form by 12th August, 2025. The following documents must be uploaded:
- Proof of Institutional Affiliation
- Letter of Intent (on institutional letterhead, signed by Head of Department/ Head of Institution)
- Letter of Authorisation for the designated contact person (If the Applicant is other than the Head of Institution. The Letter of Authorisation must be signed by the Head of Department/ Head of Institution, authorising the applicant to coordinate on the institution’s behalf.)

Step 2: Evaluation
Applications will be evaluated by the DRISTI editorial and governance team. The evaluation criteria include:
- Institutional academic profile
- Relevance of the proposed journal to institutional expertise
- Faculty’s subject specialisation
- Past publication or editorial experience (if any)
Step 3: Journal Preference Matching
Applicants must indicate First Preference and Second Preference journals. In cases of multiple applicants for the same journal, DRISTI Portal will consider the preferences along with quality indicators to allocate the collaboration.
Step 4: Confirmation and Onboarding
Selected institutions will receive confirmation via email by 25th August, 2025 and a formal MoU shall be signed.
