The regular first appeal in the case at hand stands
disposed of by this Court on 17.11.2017. No further
proceedings against the same are stated to be pending
before the Apex Court. Respondent No.1 i.e. Fate Ram alias
Fatta Chand is stated to have died on 30.07.2019. His legal
heirs i.e. respondents No. 1(a) to 1(h) have already been
ordered to be brought on record.
The present application has been filed on behalf of
the applicant/respondent No.1(h) i.e. Ashish Kumar. From a
perusal of the matriculation certificate appended alongwith
the present application, it is evident that the he was born on
25.03.2006. At the time of filing of the present application i.e.
3rd October, 2024, he had attained the age of majority.
In view thereof, he is permitted to pursue the matter
in his own capacity. Power of attorney on his behalf stands
filed. The application stands disposed of.

Since the right to receive compensation inheres in
the legal heirs of deceased respondent No.1, therefore, the
present applicant i.e. 1(h) after attaining the age of majority
is entitled to receive compensation.
In view thereof, the present application is allowed.
Amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court, is
directed to be released in favour of the applicant/respondent
No.1(h), in terms of his share detailed in para 6 of the
application. The aforesaid amount alongwith proportionate
interest accrued thereon be released in favour of the
applicant/respondent No.1(h). The same be remitted to the
bank account of the applicant-respondent No.1(h), details
whereof have been in para 9 of the application, subject to his
proper verification.
The application stands disposed of.
